BC Forged ACL09 in original Porsche GT3 Touring specifications
For this project, the objective was not to create a wider or more aggressive aftermarket fitment. The BC Forged ACL09 wheels were ordered in the original Porsche 992.2 GT3 wheel specifications.

Retaining the OEM dimensions allows the original front-to-rear diameter difference, tyre sizing and overall wheel position to remain intact. The new wheels follow the proportions developed for the GT3 platform instead of changing the car solely to create a more aggressive stance.
This approach is particularly appropriate for the Touring. The car is already carefully balanced visually and technically. A correctly specified replacement wheel should enhance that balance rather than introduce unnecessary width, excessive concavity or an altered tyre profile.
What does OEM-spec fitment mean?
OEM-spec does not mean that the BC Forged ACL09 is a replica of the original Porsche wheel. The ACL09 has its own design, forged construction and visual identity.

Matching wheels to the exterior color creates a very different effect from using a contrasting finish. Black wheels visually separate themselves from the body. Silver and brushed finishes highlight the wheel design, while bronze or gold introduce an additional color to the specification.
British Racing Green wheels allow the body and wheels to read as one complete design. The spokes remain visible through their shape, reflections and shadow lines, but the finish does not interrupt the exterior color scheme.
Why body-color wheels work on the GT3 Touring
Body-color wheels can easily become too dominant when they are used on an elaborate wheel design or combined with an already complex vehicle specification. On the 992.2 GT3 Touring, the approach works because the rest of the car remains visually restrained.
The Touring Package removes the large fixed rear wing and gives the GT3 a cleaner silhouette. Matching the wheels to the British Racing Green body continues this understated design direction.
From a distance, the car appears cohesive and almost factory-built. At closer range, the ACL09 design, centerlock mounting and custom wheel finish become more apparent.

Why retain the original 20- and 21-inch wheel sizes?
The 992.2 GT3 Touring uses a staggered wheel-diameter setup, with a 20-inch front wheel and a 21-inch rear wheel. Keeping this arrangement preserves the original relationship between the front and rear tyre sidewalls.
The smaller front diameter leaves space for the required tyre profile and supports precise front-axle response. The larger rear wheel works with the wider 315-section rear tyre and the proportions of the 992 body.
An alternative 21- and 22-inch setup can create greater visual presence, but it also changes tyre choice, sidewall height and the overall appearance of the car. That was not the objective here.
For this Touring, the custom finish was intended to provide the visual transformation. The dimensions remained intentionally faithful to Porsche's original specification.
Centerlock fitment and brake clearance
A Porsche centerlock application requires more than the correct wheel diameter. The complete center section must be designed for the vehicle's hub interface, while the spoke profile and inner barrel must provide sufficient clearance around the braking system.

A monoblock wheel does not use separate centers, inner barrels, outer lips or exposed assembly hardware. This gives the ACL09 a clean construction that suits the modern shape of the 992.2 GT3 Touring.
Forged construction also allows material to be used more selectively than with many conventional cast-wheel production methods. However, final wheel weight depends on the diameter, width, offset, centerlock structure, spoke design and required load rating.
