Your Audi RS5 build starts with the details you notice every time you drive: the wheels, the stance and the sound. At BaanVelgen, we start with your priorities and develop the wheel, tyre, suspension and exhaust choices around your Sedan or Avant.

This guide puts BC Forged wheel planning first, explains how H&R lowering completes the look and helps you define an exhaust enquiry for the new B10 generation.

BC Forged Wheels: Give Your RS5 Its Own Identity

Wheels set the visual direction of the entire car. A clean spoke pattern can keep the RS5 understated; a more intricate design and contrasting finish can make the wheels the focal point. BC Forged is our first route for a personalised wheel proposal.

Start with Design and Finish

Choose the designs that catch your eye, then consider them alongside your paint colour, exterior trim and brake calipers. For a subtle result, we recommend a finish that works closely with those colours. For greater contrast, make the wheel finish a deliberate feature of the build.

Browse the BC Forged wheel collection for design inspiration. Send us your shortlist and a photograph of your RS5 so we can develop the visual direction with you.

Build a Complete Wheel Package

A wheel proposal brings together diameter, width, offset, load capacity and brake clearance. We plan those details alongside the tyres and your intended ride height. The starting point is your own vehicle specification, including whether it has steel or ceramic brakes.

Tell us whether you want to retain your current tyres or include a new set in the proposal. If lowering is part of the plan, agree on that target before finalising the wheels. This gives the complete build a clear direction from the outset.

Request Your RS5 Wheel Proposal

Send your body style, brake specification, current tyre sizes, preferred designs and finish, lowering plans and delivery country. Include your target budget so we can focus the proposal.

Prefer BBS for Your RS5?

If you have a particular BBS design in mind, send it to us as the starting point for your enquiry. BBS selection follows the exact wheel part number and its documented vehicle application, including the brake package and load requirements.

We assess B10 applications separately from earlier RS5 generations. Include the design name or part number in your message so the enquiry starts with the right wheel.

Discuss Your BBS Wheel Choice

Tyres and Ride Height Complete the Wheel Choice

Plan the tyres around your regular driving: everyday journeys, long-distance touring or seasonal use. Include the full specifications of your existing tyres if you want to keep them.

The wheel-and-tyre specification must account for approved rim widths, load and speed ratings, brake clearance and the drivetrain's rolling circumference requirements. Choose the desired stance at the same time, so the wheel proposal reflects the finished car.

H&R Lowering: Finish the Stance

H&R offers fixed lowering springs for the Sedan and Avant, plus a height-adjustable system for both. These systems retain the original dampers and factory suspension control functions.

RS5 B10 2.9 V6 plug-in hybrid quattro — approximate lowering
Application H&R Set Front / Rear
Sedan — fixed springs 28495-1 25 / 30 mm
Avant — fixed springs 28495-2 25 / 35 mm
Sedan & Avant — adjustable springs 23041-1 25–35 / 25–40 mm

Fixed springs give you a defined lowering amount for your body style. Height-adjustable springs let you fine-tune the ride height within the specified range.

Include your regular roads, parking ramps and passenger or luggage use in the decision. Plan professional installation and alignment alongside the wheel and suspension budget.

RS5 Exhaust Planning: Define the Sound You Want

For an exhaust enquiry, start with the driving experience you want. Describe the character you enjoy under acceleration, how you use the car on longer journeys and the importance of a restrained sound around town. A useful exhaust brief goes beyond asking for more volume.

iPE: Our First Brand to Assess

As an official iPE distributor, BaanVelgen makes iPE the first brand we assess for your RS5 exhaust request. Tell us whether your priorities are sound character, valve control, tailpipe appearance or a combination of these.

If you prefer Akrapovič or Capristo, include that preference in the same enquiry. Brand choice is the starting point; a product recommendation follows the vehicle-specific application.

Compare the Complete System

When reviewing an exhaust proposal, compare what it includes: the sections being replaced, material, valve operation, tailpipe finish and approval for the intended use. Make clear whether the car is used on public roads and which original components you want to retain.

Sound recordings are most useful when they identify the exact car and exhaust configuration. Use them to discuss the sound character you like, alongside your expectations for everyday driving.

Discuss Your RS5 Exhaust

Send your model year, Sedan or Avant body style, registration country, current exhaust configuration, preferred brand and target budget. Tell us how you want the car to sound.

One Plan for Wheels, Stance and Sound

You can build your RS5 in stages while keeping the final result in view. Start with the wheel design and overall budget, agree on tyres and ride height, then define your exhaust priorities as a separate part of the proposal.

Share the complete plan with us even if the first order is for one upgrade. That gives each decision a clear place in the finished build.

Audi RS5 B10 Upgrade FAQ

Where should I start with new wheels?

Shortlist your preferred BC Forged designs and finishes. Send them with your vehicle details, brake package, tyre sizes and lowering plans for a wheel proposal.

Should I plan lowering before ordering wheels?

Yes. Agree on the intended ride height before finalising the wheel-and-tyre specification, even if you purchase the upgrades separately.

Which H&R spring set is for my RS5?

Choose 28495-1 for the Sedan or 28495-2 for the Avant for fixed lowering. The height-adjustable 23041-1 system covers both body styles.

How do I start an iPE or Akrapovič exhaust enquiry?

Send the exact vehicle details, registration country, preferred brand and desired sound. We use that information to assess the relevant B10 application and scope the proposal.
