How BAAN AIRMATIC Lowering Links work
The factory ride-height sensors measure suspension position through short mechanical links. Replacing the fixed original links with adjustable BAAN links changes the mechanical reference supplied to the suspension controller.
The vehicle then maintains a lower static ride height without software coding or an electronic signal-interception module. The original air-suspension system remains in control of the vehicle.
Because adjustment is mechanical, the desired ride height can also be changed again later by altering the length of the links.

Installation and adjustment
Installation normally takes approximately 60–90 minutes for an experienced installer. The BAAN links replace the factory ride-height sensor links and do not require modifications to the vehicle wiring or suspension software.
Measure the vehicle before adjustment and change link lengths in small, equal steps. The opposing thread design allows the central adjuster to be rotated while the link ends remain installed, making final height adjustment considerably easier.
After the vehicle has settled at the desired ride height, BaanVelgen recommends checking wheel alignment, tyre clearance and sensor-link retention.
