BAAN Air Suspension Lowering Links for Audi S6 / RS6 C7 are a model-specific mechanical lowering solution for the Audi S6 / RS6 C7 equipped with factory adaptive air suspension.
For the Audi S6 / RS6 C7, ride height has a major influence on how the body and wheel package read as one design. This BAAN kit is intended to bring the long C7 body visually closer to the wheels without replacing the original suspension hardware.
Because the adjustment remains mechanical, the installation does not introduce an additional control unit into the vehicle wiring. This is especially useful on a performance saloon or Avant where owners want the visual result without changing the original suspension architecture.
Why this kit suits the S6 / RS6 C7
- Vehicle-specific specification: supplied as a complete front-and-rear set for this application.
- On-car fine adjustment: the opposing thread directions allow the centre adjuster to be turned while installed.
- Underbody-ready materials: aluminium adjusters are paired with corrosion-resistant stainless-steel ends and sockets.
- Secure final setting: locking nuts and dual metal retaining clips provide positive mechanical retention.
- No coding: no software changes or electronic suspension controller are required.
Available adjustment range
| Front adjustment | Close to factory height through approximately 50 mm lower |
|---|---|
| Rear adjustment | Close to factory height through approximately 50 mm lower |
Use the stated range as an adjustment envelope rather than a guaranteed measured drop. The final result on the S6 / RS6 C7 depends on calibration, vehicle load, tyre pressure and wheel-and-tyre dimensions.

How the factory sensor system is used
The Audi S6 / RS6 C7 measures suspension position through links between the axle or control arm and its height sensors. Changing the effective length of those links changes the mechanical reference supplied to the controller. The existing compressor, air springs, dampers and user controls remain in service.
Confirmed application
This product is intended for the following application when equipped with factory adaptive air suspension:
- S6 / RS6 C7
Suspension specifications can vary by market, model year and optional equipment. Send BaanVelgen the VIN when confirmation is required before ordering.
Contents of the set
- Complete BAAN lowering-link set for the front and rear axles
- Aluminium threaded centre adjusters
- Stainless-steel ends and ball-joint sockets
- Lock nuts and dual safety-retaining clips
- Vehicle-specific baseline and installation guidance
Installation and final setup
Installation normally takes approximately 60–90 minutes for an experienced technician. Measure the original ride height before starting, adjust both sides in equal increments and secure every locking nut and retaining clip before the vehicle is lowered from the lift.
Once the vehicle has completed a settling drive, recheck all four measurements and arrange a professional alignment. A significant ride-height change can alter toe, camber, tyre clearance and available suspension travel.
Questions about S6 / RS6 C7 lowering links
Can the height be adjusted without removing the links?
Yes. Opposing left-hand and right-hand threads allow the centre adjuster to be rotated while both sockets remain connected to the vehicle.
Does the kit require coding?
No. The ride-height change is created mechanically and does not require software coding or an electronic lowering module.
Will the original suspension modes remain available?
Yes. The factory controls and selectable suspension modes remain available, although the vehicle operates around the newly selected static height.
Should the alignment be checked?
Yes. A wheel-alignment check is recommended after the vehicle has settled, particularly with a larger drop or non-standard wheels.
Can the original height be restored?
Yes. The links can be readjusted and the original factory links can also be reinstalled.
