BAAN Air Suspension Lowering Links for Volvo EX90 V536 are a model-specific mechanical lowering solution for the Volvo EX90 V536 equipped with factory air suspension.
A carefully chosen ride height can change the entire side profile of the Volvo EX90 V536. These adjustable BAAN links are designed to visually lower the tall electric platform and create a more integrated stance around the large wheel openings.
A lower stance for a electric flagship SUV
For the Volvo EX90 V536, the most convincing result is usually not the lowest possible setting but a measured position that preserves clearance and suspension travel. The adjustable construction supports that approach.
Precision adjustment rather than a fixed drop
| Usable front range | 0–50 mm lower, approximately |
|---|---|
| Usable rear range | 0–50 mm lower, approximately |
A conservative OEM+ setting normally leaves more suspension travel and ground clearance than the maximum position. Always verify tyre, underbody and sensor-link clearance.
Mechanical sensor geometry explained
At each sensor location, the original fixed linkage is exchanged for an adjustable one. A carefully measured change in length produces a corresponding change in static body position. Reinstalling the factory links restores the original mechanical reference.

After installation
Allow approximately 60–90 minutes for installation and initial setup. After the first road test, remeasure the vehicle on a flat surface and confirm that the selected height is even from left to right.
The final setup should be checked in the normal road mode and with normal tyre pressures. Reinspect the lock nuts and safety clips after the first period of use.
Owner questions
Is this a fixed lowering kit?
No. The final height can be fine-tuned through the threaded centre adjusters.
Can the car still self-level?
The factory self-levelling system remains in use. The links simply establish a lower mechanical reference position.
Will lowering change the ride?
A modest change generally retains the character of the factory system, but a larger drop reduces available suspension travel and may make the vehicle feel firmer.
Can a workshop install the kit?
Yes. The kit can be installed by a qualified workshop using normal hand tools and the supplied baseline guidance.
Is fitment reversible?
Yes. No permanent change to the suspension electronics is required, and the original links can be refitted.
