BAAN Air Suspension Lowering Links for the Zeekr 7X are developed specifically for the Zeekr 7X Privilege AWD equipped with active air suspension.

The Zeekr 7X combines active air suspension with continuous damping control and selectable ground-clearance settings. BAAN Lowering Links change the mechanical reference position of the factory ride-height sensors, allowing the vehicle to maintain a lower static position without software coding or an electronic lowering controller.

The result is a lower, more composed stance that better integrates the large SUV body with the wheel and tyre setup, while retaining the functionality of the original Zeekr suspension system.

Why choose BAAN Lowering Links for the Zeekr 7X?

  • Vehicle-specific Zeekr 7X fitment: developed from physical measurements of the original suspension sensor-link configuration.
  • Adjustable while installed: opposing left-hand and right-hand threads allow the link length to be fine-tuned while both ends remain connected to the vehicle.
  • Precision-machined construction: aluminium central adjusters are combined with corrosion-resistant stainless-steel link ends and ball-joint sockets.
  • Secure mechanical retention: locking nuts secure the selected adjustment and dual metal safety-retaining clips secure the sockets to the factory sensor balls.
  • No software coding required: the lowering method works mechanically and does not add an electronic controller to the suspension wiring.
  • Fully reversible: the original Zeekr sensor links can be reinstalled to return the vehicle to its factory mechanical configuration.

Zeekr 7X lowering range

Front axle From close to factory height to approximately 50 mm lower
Rear axle From close to factory height to approximately 50 mm lower

Front and rear ride height can be adjusted independently. The final measured result depends on the original suspension calibration, selected suspension mode, tyre pressure, vehicle load and wheel-and-tyre configuration.

The maximum available adjustment should be treated as a technical range, not automatically as the recommended everyday setting. Always verify suspension travel, tyre clearance, ground clearance and road suitability after lowering.

Designed around the Zeekr 7X active air suspension

The factory Zeekr 7X ride-height sensors measure the position of the suspension through short mechanical links. Replacing those fixed links with adjustable BAAN components changes the reference position reported to the suspension controller.

The factory compressor, air springs, dampers, continuous damping control, self-levelling logic and selectable suspension functions remain in use. The vehicle simply operates around the newly selected mechanical reference position.

  • Corrosion-resistant stainless-steel link ends and sockets
  • Mechanical locking nuts
  • Dual metal safety-retaining clips
  • Vehicle-specific installation and baseline adjustment guidance

Installation and adjustment

Installation should be completed by an experienced owner or qualified workshop familiar with air-suspension systems. Measure the original ride height before installation and adjust the left and right sides of each axle in equal, measured increments.

The opposing thread directions allow the central adjuster to be rotated while both sockets remain connected to the vehicle. This avoids repeatedly removing the links from the factory sensor arms during fine adjustment.

After the Zeekr 7X has settled at its final ride height, check:

  • Left-to-right ride-height measurements
  • Tyre and wheel-arch clearance
  • Available suspension travel
  • Free movement of the sensor links
  • Correct engagement of all retaining clips
  • Wheel alignment

Frequently asked questions

Can the Zeekr 7X links be adjusted while installed?

Yes. The left-hand and right-hand thread arrangement allows the aluminium central adjuster to be rotated while both link ends remain connected to the vehicle.

Is software coding required?

No. BAAN Lowering Links change the ride-height sensor reference mechanically. No software coding or electronic lowering controller is required.

Does the factory Zeekr air suspension continue to work?

Yes. The factory air-suspension hardware, self-levelling system, continuous damping control and selectable suspension functions remain available. The system operates around the newly selected static reference height.

Do the links fit every Zeekr 7X?

No. This application is intended for the Zeekr 7X Privilege AWD equipped with factory active air suspension. Zeekr 7X versions without active air suspension are not compatible.

Is wheel alignment required after lowering?

BaanVelgen recommends a professional wheel-alignment check after the vehicle has settled at its final ride height. Lowering can influence toe, camber, tyre clearance and available suspension travel.

Can the original ride height be restored?

Yes. The BAAN links can be readjusted, and the original factory sensor links can also be reinstalled.
