Where Should You Start?
The new Porsche 992.2 Turbo S combines enormous performance with everyday usability. The right upgrades should preserve that character while improving the areas that matter most to you: wheel fitment, weight, stance, sound or overall road presence.

Porsche 992.2 Turbo S Performance Upgrades
The Porsche 911 Turbo S has always combined supercar performance with everyday usability, and the 992.2 generation continues that philosophy. For this reason, the best upgrades are not necessarily the most extreme ones. Wheel fitment, tyre choice, ride height and future performance modifications should work together without compromising the versatility that defines the Turbo S.
At BaanVelgen, we currently focus on forged wheel configurations and suspension upgrades for the Porsche 992.2 Turbo S, while additional exhaust and performance applications continue to become available for the platform.
Every wheel setup should be checked against the exact vehicle specification, including the centerlock mounting system, brake clearance, PCCB configuration where applicable, tyre sizing and suspension setup.

From forged wheels and matched tyres to H&R lowering springs and future exhaust options, our Porsche 992.2 Turbo S Ultimate Performance Upgrade Guide explains how to build a coordinated upgrade plan and request a complete wheel and suspension package.
Wheels for the Porsche 992.2 Turbo S
The 992.2 Turbo S requires a vehicle-specific approach to wheel fitment. Width, offset, mounting interface, brake clearance and tyre dimensions should be assessed together rather than selecting wheels by diameter alone.
For owners looking for a dedicated BBS option, the BBS FI-R EVO Centerlock offers a forged monoblock solution specifically listed for the Porsche 992.2 Turbo S.
For a more customizable setup, the BC Forged AF55 is one of our preferred designs for modern Porsche 911 applications. Its open five-spoke structure works particularly well with the wide Turbo body and leaves the large Porsche brake system clearly visible.
Owners looking for a more bespoke multi-piece appearance can consider designs such as the BC Forged MLE81 or HRE 305.

Lowering the Porsche 992.2 Turbo S
Lowering the 992.2 Turbo S can reduce the visual wheel arch gap and create a more purposeful stance, particularly when combined with a carefully specified forged wheel setup.
The H&R Lowering Springs for Porsche 992.2 Turbo S are available in two vehicle-specific applications depending on the factory PASM specification.
Vehicles equipped with PASM Sport suspension and equipment code 1BV use the application with approximately 20 mm lowering. Cars equipped with PASM standard suspension and equipment code 1BH use the application with approximately 30 mm lowering.
The correct spring set should be selected according to the original Porsche suspension specification rather than simply choosing the preferred lowering amount. The factory front axle lift system remains compatible with the relevant applications.
When lowering is combined with aftermarket wheels, wheel width, offset, tyre sizing and available clearance should be assessed as one complete configuration.
Porsche 992.2 Turbo S Exhaust Upgrades
Exhaust systems for a newly introduced Porsche generation should not automatically be assumed compatible based on an earlier 992 Turbo S application. Exhaust routing, emissions equipment, control systems and market specification can affect compatibility.
iPE and Akrapovič systems for the Porsche 992.2 Turbo S are currently being developed. BaanVelgen can provide the latest application and availability information as new systems become available.
If you are planning an exhaust upgrade, tell us whether your priority is additional sound, weight reduction, valve control or a more extensive performance setup. We can advise on the most appropriate route once the correct vehicle-specific system is confirmed.

Building a Complete 992.2 Turbo S Setup
Wheels and suspension should ideally be planned together. Lowering changes the relationship between the body, wheels and tyres, while a different wheel width or offset changes the available clearance and overall stance.
For a road-driven Turbo S, our preference is generally to retain the usability and refinement of the original car while improving stance, wheel design and visual presence. More aggressive configurations should only be chosen where they offer a meaningful benefit for the intended use.
BaanVelgen can configure custom BC Forged, HRE and other forged wheel sets around the individual vehicle and assess the complete combination with tyre sizing and H&R suspension before ordering.
